YouTube Channel Identity for Nat Geo Kids
I designed lively banners for our YouTube channel that featured talent and characters from our short-form video series. Redesigning the channel and producing videos everyday helped to significantly grow channel subscriptions. (I designed the animated version of the banner in After Effects.)
We also created more content-focused banners that were a staple of Nat Geo Kids. These banners had to accommodate various screen sizes so were a design challenge.
New Show Banners
When a new short-form video series premiered, we created special banners for that series channel.
Video Titlecard Design Refresh
We refreshed the title cards so they would have recognizable yellow borders but still be fun and inviting to users when they did a search for content from Google or the main search bar on YT.
Endscreen Redesign
We refreshed our endscreen design to drive users to click on more videos, subscribe and buy books related to the show.
